The "wigged radicals" took the leap: together with Bullrich, Sturzenegger and Petri they launched their libertarian space

The wig-wearing radicals are moving with increasing autonomy in the libertarian world to enable a platform that allows their coreligionists to jump into the officialism and places on the national and provincial lists . The deputies Mariano Campero (Tucumán), Luis Picat (Córdoba), Mariano Arjol (Misiones), Pablo Cervi (Neuquén) and Francisco Monti (Catamarca), key to shielding the President's vetoes against retirement mobility and university funds, are preparing a bridge for the radicals who want to join LLA.
As Clarín anticipated on Sunday, more than 200 councilors, mayors and radical leaders from all over the country who want to jump to the officialism met this Tuesday at noon in La Rural to participate in the "Seminar for liberal ideas." The Minister of State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger , applauded standing by the attendees upon entering the hall of the fairgrounds, was the main speaker and Patricia Bullrich, the mayor of 3 de Febrero, Diego Valenzuela, and Luis Petri, who arrived late, also spoke.
Each of the wig-wearing radicals introduced one of the speakers, who described their vote against the veto as a turning point.
The Minister of Security, key to attracting libertarian radicals to Mileísmo, broke the ice on stage with Campero who campaigned for her in 2023. "She was the one who got me into this mess (...) Before the runoff, we told her that we wanted to be protagonists and play," said the legislator from Tucumán.
The "wigged" radicals launched their own libertarian space alongside Bullrich and Sturzenegger.
Bullrich thanked the radicals with a wig. "They continued with the founding ideas of the party to which they belong (...) radicalism was founded as a liberal party ," said the former Minister of Labor of the last radical government.
The act and the intervention of the radical space with a libertarian profile take place in the midst of the tensions that are going through the centennial party, which has a hard opposition national committee leadership, is divided in Deputies and has the invaluable collaboration of the governors who ordered their senators to prevent the advance of a commission that would investigate the President for his alleged participation in the cryptogate.
The case of the head of the Upper House bloc, Eduardo Vischi, who answers to the governor of Corrientes, Gustavo Valdés, and supported the vote for the creation of the commission but voted against it , has again shaken the ground of the UCR. The radical governors will not jump to LLA for now but they are enabling conversations and macro agreements with the Casa Rosada, such as the Mendoza governor Alfredo Cornejo.
"Having participated in JxC, we fell short without taking the brave step of decision so that Argentina could get rid of the weight of corporations and mafia politics. And suddenly this came from a president who came from the side understanding what was happening in a political system that was eating itself up," celebrated Bullrich who during her speech especially attacked Sergio Massa.

Sitting at the Government's political table, Bullrich enables the assembly in Congress and in several provinces.
Some of the organizers, in the lead-up, were afraid of Karina Milei's guillotine. Although there is permanent contact with Lule and Martín Menem, they wanted to avoid the main organizer of LLA, who will be in Ushuaia this Wednesday, ordering the event to be suspended. It did not happen, although the President, who the most enthusiastic people were expecting, did not appear either.
There was a family photo, with our backs to the audience, advice on the campaign, invitations to join LLA and a long and intimate lunch afterwards. "We are going to build a great force with these liberal ideas, like Alem. We are not going to commit suicide, we are going to move forward."
The minister pointed out differences between the opposition and the ruling party, which seemed to include Macri's party . "Those who do many things are wrong. They point out that there is a melon that has a line . And there is another who pushes the cart and keeps going. We push the cart," she roared before inviting the provinces and municipalities to join the change before "the bandwidth shrinks." "So that this does not happen, we have to win in all the provinces (...) and not suffer like on the day of the veto. That is why eternal gratitude to those deputies. Winning this election is preparing to win in 2027," said the minister.
Sturzenegger , who after having been a deputy of the PRO gave a political speech again, also valued the presidential veto of the radicals with wigs, which he described as "transcendental." "The day after the vetoes, the country risk fell. That is employment. My second thanks is to Bullrich who gave me a place and told me not to be discouraged, that the transformation process was going to be carried out with Milei," he said.
He apologized for also taking "the best of you (of the liberal radicals), Alejandro Cacace, to the administration" and listed the de-bureaucratization that his ministry is pushing for. "What often happens in Argentina is that stealing is legal," he said when defining the functioning of the public works registry.
Sturzenegger, who was also an official of Fernando de la Rúa, proposed three axes to carry out the electoral campaign in 2025 and 2027. The first is to expose the provinces not to accept debureaucratizations such as the online sale of medicines or the VTV carried out by private parties. The second is to point out the bureaucracy of the municipalities. "I want to invite them to think with that aggressiveness. Let the authorizations and the procedures for businesses disappear (...) Think very radically," suggested Sturzenegger in campaign consultant mode. Finally, "the colossus," as Javier Milei calls him, asked to imitate the President to ask for the reduction of fiscal spending. "We accepted as a truth that a cut was unpopular," he said.
The official also blamed the dictatorship of Juan Carlos Onganía for having inaugurated the caste system. "We have to recover that spirit of freedom," he reiterated.
Valenzuela said that Martín Menem confirmed to him that the vetoes were key to sustaining the Government's course. "This is not a time for ambiguity, neither for the PRO nor for the Radical Party," said the mayor, who suggested that it was better to join LLA than to be an ally. "It is time to take a risk (...) We need a radically different province," he claimed.
Hours after presenting the arrival of the first F16s for the Air Force and while receiving friendly fire for alleged leaks about the President's inner circle, Petri also praised his fellow party members, like him, painted in purple. "Radicalism has to be here, because its members are already here. How can we not be here if our party was born defending freedom," shouted the Minister of Defense who aspires to govern Mendoza.
The former vice-presidential candidate of JxC asked to seek out the radicals who do not want to embrace Kirchnerism. "Those of us who are here are on the right side of history. More radicals have to come and from all parties," the head of the Defense portfolio enthused.
